If you are good at building a rapport with a wide range of people, own a positive outlook and have a UK driving license, then our hybrid Sales Assistant with Driving Duties role at Dulux Decorator Centre is for you. This role is all about providing great customer service to professionals & DIY enthusiasts, in store and when carrying out deliveries to homes and businesses.

The role
This is a part time 20 hour per week role, and you may need to be available to work shifts between 7am and 5pm Mon-Fri. You will also work some Saturday shifts (8am to 2pm) to which you will have time off in lieu. 

This role will involve driving anywhere from 30% to 100% of your time and anytime you are not driving you will be expected to work in store as a sales assistant, so it is important that you have a background in sales and retail.

• Mix paint to customer requirements
• Engage with customers and provide product advice
• Deliver orders to customers
• Collaborate with colleagues to reach store targets
• Follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor
• Provide feedback to improve our overall service to customers
• Carry out daily and weekly van inspections & report any concerns
• Provide great customer service
